The Story

antastic vintage bracelet by the renowned costume jewellery house, Monet.

The company’s history dates back to the 1930s. Under the artistic direction of Edmond Mario Granville—who trained in fine jewellery at Cartier—Monet rose to considerable prominence.

Early designs were influenced by leading European fashion houses such as Chanel and Schiaparelli. The brand’s creative success led to licensing agreements to manufacture costume jewellery in the United States for Yves Saint Laurent in the 1980s and subsequently for Christian Lacroix in the 1990s.

Crafted in a polished gold-tone finish, this bracelet features a series of bold, open oval links that create a sculptural, dimensional silhouette on the wrist. It is secured with a substantial toggle clasp, offering both visual impact and ease of wear.

Measuring 20 cm in total length, the bracelet has been recently re-plated with 5 microns of gold.
