Vintage Monochrome Enamel Pendant Necklace with Gold Chain

Vintage gold necklace by American costume jewellery company, Monet. 

The company's history goes back to 1930s. Under Edmond Mario Granville's artistic direction, who had a background in fine jewellery from Cartier, they were hugely popular. 

Their design was initially influenced by European fashion designers like Chanel and Schiaparelli and their creative success lead to them having the licence to manufacture the costume jewellery for Yves Saint Laurent in the United States in 1980s and subsequently for Christian Lacroix in 1990s. 

This gorgeous necklace measures 72cm in total length and the monochrome pendant is 72 mm tall and 55 mm wide.
